Clients from The Rainbow Foundation’s award-winning Day Opportunities Service in Penley and Marchwiel, joined those in Chirk for an afternoon tea dance to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Chirk opening.
More than a third of Welsh households are struggling to heat their homes, this is almost 50% higher than the British average. The current pressures on UK households mean that 24% are struggling to keep warm, 15% struggling with rising food costs and 50% say winter pressures are impacting on their physical and mental health (ONS figures, released on 30th Jan 2023).
The Rainbow Foundation has been shining a spotlight on dignity this Dignity Action Day by creating our very own digni-tree. Celebrated each February 1st, clients and staff at The Rainbow Foundation have been responding to the question What does dignity mean to me? The answers are written on leaves which are added to the branches of the digni-tree.
